Anoushka Shankar is a British American musician and sitarist, is well known for her music. She is the youngest woman and also the first woman to be awarded an official British House of Commons shield. Anoushka shankar is one of the rising stars of India's sitar. She is Ravi Shankar's student, and the daughter. Her childhood was spent bouncing around from London in the UK to New Delhi. The first time she performed was in New Delhi at the tender 13 years old.
